Nick was born and raised in Boston, MA before he fled snowy New England for warmer pastures. He studied Computer Science at Duke University, but soon found himself co-writing, directing, and producing Duke’s first feature length student film. He moved to LA immediately after college to be a Hollywood assistant and let his computer science degree collect dust. After brief stints at Gran Via, ICM, and Fox 2000, Nick began working for Matt Nix, the acclaimed creator of BURN NOTICE. Under Nix’s tutelage, Nick began to develop his niche – fitting all the science he loves into his storytelling – first as a trusted assistant and development partner, then as a staff writer on the FOX drama APB, starring Justin Kirk. He was most recently a co-producer on Season One of Crackle’s upcoming adaptation of Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness.
