Liridona is a design researcher and tech punk in between science and arts. She who works at the intersection of sustainability, social design, and new technological services. She is an advocate of democratising design practice through digital and non-digital interfaces, open data, and citizen involvement in the making of sustainable cities and livelihoods.
She is curious about human-centered technology services that have emergent abilities to enable better management and innovative uses of existing and underutilized resources and organization of people towards radically different post-industrial, post-consumerist everyday life. She is the co-founder of VRSciLabs, data-driven laboratories for R&D using data visualization and virtual reality for city science. She is part of VRSci platform, organizing the first international festival bridging arts and science through immersive technologies.
